Juan Carlos Arteaga Avalos is an author, speaker, and consultant. He has delivered over 180 conferences on communication, leadership, and business across Mexico, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. He has been invited to forums such as the World Network of Young Politicians, the United Nations, the Senate of the Republic, Harvard University’s SPARK Initiative, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and dozens of companies and educational institutions.
Since 2016, he has led Helm Ventures, where he has supported over 30 Mexican startups and SMEs. Additionally, he is a senior director and consultant at the International Consulting Network, an international expansion associate for SGN Holding, and managing partner of the investment fund at Long Island University in the United States.
He served as President of Leadership and Student Development at the World School of Leadership, where he led the training of hundreds of speakers and organized dozens of conferences, earning the distinction of Master Speaker. He is also a certified member of the John Maxwell Team and a speaker at Maxwell Leadership, a global authority in leadership and training.
Through his nonprofit organization, LIDERMUN, he has impacted over 25,000 young people in Latin America, serving as Secretary-General of the region’s largest and most significant Model United Nations conference.
His podcast DEMPRENDE is one of the 100 most-listened-to business shows on Apple Podcasts Mexico and ranked in the top 5% on Spotify Wrapped in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
He is the bestselling author of the books Cambiando el Mundo un Paso a la Vez and The ABC’s of Public Speaking, as well as a consultant and member of the board of directors of various companies and organizations.
